Connect & Heal Through Play *
Children often have big emotions that they can't express in words. These emotions can lead to challenging behaviors at home and school. Play therapy offers a safe and nurturing environment for your child to explore their feelings, learn coping skills, and develop healthier ways to communicate.
Services
Parent Coaching
Parents are the most important people in a child’s life. You will be supported with the best parenting strategies to meet the unique needs and strengths of your child. Play-based approaches help you build joyful, connecting moments with your child. These moments help decrease negative or frustrating patterns between you and your child.
Play Therapy
Play therapy is an opportunity for your child to learn new skills. The Association for Play Therapy defines play therapy as a “way of being with the child that honors their unique developmental level and looks for ways of helping in the ‘language’ of the child… to better express themselves and solve their problems”.
Individual Therapy
It can be hard to navigate what is typical teen behavior and worrisome behavior. Individual therapy for your teen will allow them a compassionate, safe space to navigate life’s challenges.
Teens who struggle with feelings of isolation, sadness and hidden anxieties can benefit from adolescent therapy.
